Team Lead: 2nd Shift

Train, mentor, supervise, and develop production team members; coordinate daily operations including startups, shutdowns, and changeovers; oversee production line activities including work assignments, rotations, training, vacations, breaks, overtime, and back-up scheduling; partner with HR to support staffing needs (interviews and candidate selection); conduct annual performance evaluations; maintain responsibility for quality control standards; ensure effective cross-functional communication with Team Leaders, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, HR, and management; ensure accurate and timely entry of shift paperwork; lead or participate in waste and cost reduction initiatives; achieve production goals and meet deadlines; handle conflict resolution and apply disciplinary action when necessary; enforce safety practices, GMP guidelines, and PPE usage; provide production support as needed.
