Job Summary
Over-the-Road (OTR) Team Driver based in Aurora, CO responsible for safely and professionally transporting freight between company facilities, customer locations, and designated destinations across the United States. Operates commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and company policies while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, backing into docks, conducting pre-trip/en route/post-trip inspections, maintaining electronic logs and shipping documentation, coordinating with dispatch, and participating in required drug/alcohol testing programs. Competitive pay per mile with company benefits and a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Meet all DOT qualification requirements under FMCSR Part 391, including maintaining a current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Minimum of two (2) years of verified commercial driving experience within the past four (4) years; three (3) or more years of over-the-road driving experience preferred
- Hazmat required
- TWIC card or the ability to obtain one within ninety (90) days of employment. (Optional)
- Experience operating multiple trailer configurations and servicing ports or intermodal facilities preferred
- Basic computer and electronic logging device (ELD) proficiency
- Strong English language skills, including reading, writing, and verbal communication
- Satisfactory motor vehicle record and employment history
- No positive drug or alcohol test within the past five (5) years
- No DUI, DWI, reckless driving conviction, or speeding violation of 12 MPH or more over the posted speed limit within the past five (5) years
- No preventable accident involving bodily injury within the past three (3) years
