Job Summary
Select expedited, time-sensitive freight loads from Landstar's nationwide network across the lower 48 states, Alaska, and Canada. Manage your home time and choose your lanes without forced dispatch or team matching. Operate as an experienced team driver with a Class A CDL, Hazmat endorsement, and one year of verifiable OTR experience hauling high-value or specialized cargo. Maintain a clean DOT record with no serious violations, accidents, or positive drug tests in the specified lookback periods. Earn percentage-based pay with 100% of billed fuel surcharges and access exclusive purchasing programs. Required Qualifications
- Currently operating as a team
- 23+ years old
- Class A CDL
- Hazmat endorsement
- One year verifiable OTR experience
- Verifiable driving history
- No DOT-recordable/preventable accidents in past 12 months
- No serious violations in past 36 months, including reckless driving or careless endangerment
- No DUI in past 60 months
- Overall safe driving record
- Felony and misdemeanor charges reviewed case-by-case
- No positive drug or alcohol tests
