Team Coach Supply Chain

Team Coach Supply Chain at DS Smith leads a small team of 3-4 colleagues, coordinates order intake, forecasting, and capacity/stock planning across Gent and Buggenhout sites, and ensures optimal customer satisfaction by managing workload distribution and outsourcing of orders to sister companies or third parties. The role requires coaching and motivating a supply chain team, coordinating with carriers and expediters, and maintaining close collaboration with production, planning, and other departments. Key tasks include coordinating daily activities, evaluating order intake, forecasting, capacity planning, balancing workload between sites, and working with customers to prevent overdue stock. Qualifications include a Bachelor in Logistics Management or equivalent experience, supply chain or customer service experience in a manufacturing setting, prior team leadership, ERP proficiency, proactive problem-solving, strong communication, Dutch and English fluency, with French a plus.
