Team Care Coordinator

Accurately document patient visits by accompanying providers during examinations and recording medical histories, physical exams, procedures, and treatment plans. Handle and triage patient phone calls in a professional and timely manner, while scheduling office visits, procedures, and surgeries. Manage physician and physician assistant clinical and surgical schedules, submit and renew physical therapy orders, and call in prescriptions and medication refills as authorized. Coordinate patient care while maintaining accurate documentation and communication, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Support providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient daily operations in a standard medical office environment. Requires surgery scheduling experience, Athena familiarity, and the ability to travel between clinic locations.
