Job Summary
Blend delicious smoothies according to recipe tickets and ensure guests' purposes are met. Greet and engage customers to provide a friendly experience while properly prepping fruits, vegetables, frozen items, powders, and liquids. Perform opening and closing duties, complete store checklists, and handle payments using the POS system. Move boxes up to 55 lbs, maintain food safety standards, and comply with dress code requirements. Work an 8-hour day shift Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling, holidays, and weekend availability. Join a team dedicated to promoting healthy habits and nourishing choices since 1973.
Required Qualifications
- Energetic and dynamic team members who are excited about people
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to connect and communicate with guests, with a guest comes first attitude
- Ability to tolerate exposure to a wide variety of fresh, dried and/or frozen products, and powdered substances, including, but not limited to, strawberries, bananas, peanuts, tree nuts (such as almonds), milk, soy, proteins, and spices without posing a direct threat to personal health and safety
- Ability to follow procedures and willingness to comply with dress code requirements
- Ability to keep the store clean and follow food safety regulations
- Ability to operate a blender and POS cashier system
- Ability to move boxes, weighing up to 55 lbs throughout the store
- Ability to position self to bend, reach and stoop through assigned shifts
- Ability to be mobile in a reach-in or walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F
