Job Summary
Lead the Footwear department by delivering expert product knowledge, coaching teammates, and driving sales while ensuring the department meets athlete needs. Uphold merchandising standards, execute 30-60-90 day plans with store management, and act as Head Coach for opening/closing procedures and general store oversight when serving as sole leader. Communicate departmental goals, assign workloads based on skill levels, and monitor progress against financial targets to ensure uninterrupted operations. Build and lead a strong team by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and retaining direct reports, while providing ongoing coaching, performance management, and accountability for policy compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience
- Previous retail/customer-facing experience required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous people leadership experience preferred
