Team Captain Footwear & Apparel - HIRING EVENT

Lead a dynamic retail team focused on delivering exceptional service through product knowledge and athlete engagement across footwear and apparel. Coach teammates, drive sales, and ensure athletes find the right products for performance and style. Uphold merchandising standards, manage inventory presentation, and execute 30-60-90 day plans to support business priorities. When acting as sole leader, oversee opening/closing procedures, front end functions, and general store operations. Communicate departmental goals, assign workload based on skill levels, and develop effective schedules to meet traffic demands. Build and lead a strong team by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retaining direct reports. Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management, including annual reviews and promotional recommendations. Enforce safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures while holding teammates accountable for compliance.
