Coach a dynamic retail team focused on delivering exceptional service through product knowledge and athlete engagement across footwear and apparel. Anticipate athlete needs, provide accurate product information, and uphold merchandising standards by managing floor sets, signage, and inventory replenishment. Lead the development of 30-60-90 day plans with store management to drive sales, staffing, and operational initiatives while executing general store oversight including opening/closing procedures and cash office functions. Communicate departmental goals, assign workload based on skill levels, and develop effective schedules to meet traffic demands. Build and lead a strong team by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and retaining direct reports while providing coaching, feedback, and performance management. Enforce safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, holding teammates accountable for compliance.
