Team Captain Footwear & Apparel - HIRING EVENT

Lead a dynamic retail team focused on delivering exceptional service through product knowledge and athlete engagement across footwear and apparel. Coach teammates, drive sales, and ensure athletes find the right products for performance and style. Uphold company merchandising standards by managing floor sets, signage, inventory presentation, and replenishment. Collaborate with the Store Manager and Area Store Manager to develop 30-60-90 day plans, execute operational initiatives, and adjust staffing and hiring needs to meet financial goals. When acting as sole leader, perform general store oversight including opening and closing procedures, Front End functions, and teammate supervision. Communicate departmental goals, assign workload based on skill levels, and develop effective schedules to meet athlete traffic demands. Build and lead a strong team by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retaining direct reports. Provide coaching, feedback, and motivation throughout the teammate lifecycle, including annual reviews and promotional recommendations. Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures while holding teammates accountable for compliance.
