Team Captain Footwear & Apparel - HIRING EVENT

Lead a dynamic retail team focused on delivering exceptional service through product knowledge and athlete engagement across footwear and apparel. Coach teammates, drive sales, and ensure athletes find the right products for performance and style while maintaining merchandising and presentation standards. Collaborate with store managers to develop 30-60-90 day plans, execute operational initiatives, and manage staffing and hiring needs within assigned budgets. When acting as the sole leader, oversee opening and closing procedures, front-end functions, and direct report supervision. Communicate departmental goals, assign workloads based on skill levels, and monitor progress against financial targets to ensure uninterrupted operations. Build and lead a strong team by sourcing, interviewing, and retaining direct reports while providing coaching, feedback, and performance management. Enforce safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, holding teammates accountable for compliance.
