Team Captain Footwear & Apparel - HIRING EVENT

Lead a dynamic retail team focused on delivering exceptional service through product knowledge and athlete engagement across footwear and apparel. Coach teammates, drive sales, and ensure athletes find the right products for performance and style while upholding merchandising and presentation standards. Collaborate with store and assistant managers to develop 30-60-90 day plans, execute operational initiatives, and manage staffing and hiring needs. When acting as sole leader, perform general store oversight including opening and closing procedures, front end functions, and teammate supervision. Communicate departmental goals, assign workload based on skill levels, and monitor progress against financial targets to ensure uninterrupted operations. Build a strong team by sourcing, interviewing, and retaining direct reports while providing coaching, feedback, and performance management. Enforce safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, holding teammates accountable for compliance.
