Coach teammates, drive sales, and ensure athletes find the right products for performance and style by delivering outstanding experiences through clear product knowledge and accurate information. Uphold merchandising standards, follow floor sets and signage requirements, and lead company programs including loyalty enrollment and warranty sales. Collaborate with store and assistant managers to develop 30-60-90 day plans, execute operational initiatives, and manage staffing needs within established budgets. When acting as sole leader, oversee opening and closing procedures, front end functions, and general store operations while developing effective schedules to meet traffic demands. Build a strong team by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and retaining direct reports, providing coaching, feedback, and performance management including annual reviews and termination recommendations. Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures while holding teammates accountable for compliance.
