Team Captain Footwear & Apparel

Lead a dynamic retail team focused on delivering exceptional service through product knowledge and athlete engagement across footwear and apparel. Coach teammates, drive sales, and ensure athletes find the right products for performance and style. Anticipate athlete needs, provide clear product information, and uphold merchandising standards including floor sets, signage, and inventory replenishment. Promote company programs like loyalty enrollment and warranty sales while contributing to 30-60-90 day plans with store leadership to support business priorities. Execute operational initiatives, manage staffing and hiring needs within budget, and act as Head Coach for general store oversight including opening/closing procedures and cash office functions. Develop effective schedules, monitor progress against goals, and pivot plans to meet traffic demands and financial targets. Build and lead a strong team by sourcing, interviewing, and retaining direct reports while providing coaching, feedback, and performance management. Enforce safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, holding teammates accountable for compliance and policy adherence.
