Job Summary
Lead the Apparel department by delivering an engaging shopping experience rooted in product knowledge and athlete connection. Coach teammates, drive sales, and ensure athletes feel confident in their selections while upholding merchandising and presentation standards. Collaborate with store and area managers to develop 30-60-90 day plans, execute operational initiatives, and manage staffing and hiring needs. Monitor progress against business priorities, adjust schedules based on traffic demands, and enforce safety and loss prevention policies. Build a strong team by sourcing, interviewing, and retaining direct reports, providing ongoing coaching, performance management, and accountability. Deliver exceptional experiences to athletes of all abilities within the DICK'S Sporting Goods environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience
- Previous retail/customer-facing experience required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous people leadership experience preferred
