Team Captain Apparel

Lead a dynamic retail team focused on delivering exceptional service through product knowledge and athlete engagement across footwear and apparel. Coach teammates, drive sales, and ensure athletes find the right products for performance and style. Anticipate athlete needs, provide accurate product information, and uphold merchandising standards including floor sets, signage, and inventory presentation. Promote company programs like loyalty enrollment and warranty sales while contributing to 30-60-90 day business plans. Act as Head Coach during sole leadership, managing opening/closing procedures, front-end functions, and direct reports. Develop effective schedules, assign workload based on skill levels, and monitor progress against goals to ensure uninterrupted operations. Build and lead a strong team by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and retaining direct reports. Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management, including annual reviews and promotional recommendations. Enforce safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures while holding teammates accountable for compliance.
