Job Summary
Teach approximately seven introductory chemistry courses annually, covering lectures and labs for both majors and non-majors, with specific focus on nursing chemistry and engineering tracks. Coordinate the general chemistry program, design and implement new laboratory exercises, and lead meetings for instructors teaching introductory chemistry. Publish lab manuals, perform curricular assessments, and contribute to scholarly publications and conference presentations. Demonstrate a strong commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment and supporting the university's mission through student-centered activities and departmental service.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. (U.S. or foreign equivalent degree) in chemistry or biochemistry
