Job Summary

Implement academic and environmental accommodations and develop daily curriculum plans for children aged 5-14 with emotional, behavioral, and developmental disabilities. Deliver individual instruction focusing on social and adaptive skills, including problem solving and conflict resolution, while using behavior techniques to shape student interactions. Provide crisis intervention to ensure safety and complete required data collection and academic assessments. Collaborate with school personnel and participate in weekly supervision and treatment team meetings. Maintain a full-time schedule of 217 days, including a 4-week summer program, with a Bachelor's degree and VT teaching license required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • VT Teaching License or License eligible
  • 2 years of a combination of skills, experience and/or education in supporting youth in an education setting
  • Experience with children with emotional and/or behavioral disabilities
  • Valid driver's License, acceptable driving record and use of a personal vehicle
