Job Summary
The Teaching Assistant, Psychology at RMIT Vietnam supports psychology course delivery, assists with grading, reinforces lessons, runs small-group tutoring and practical sessions, and may prepare training workshops. Responsibilities include preparing and grading assessments, reviewing material one-on-one or in small groups, supporting in-class activities under supervision, and participating in program-related activities. Requires a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline; doctoral study is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to explain complex concepts, and familiarity with psychological content and undergraduate psychology coursework are essential. Required Qualifications
- Master degree in the relevant discipline
- Having commenced or enrolled to commence in a Doctoral program is preferred
- IELTS (Academic) with a score of at least 7.0 with no competency less than 6.5 (or equivalent)
- Ability to explain complex ideas and concepts clearly
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen well, motivate and encourage
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and negotiate sensitively with students on issues related to effective learning
