Job Summary
Teaching Assistant, Phlebotomy at Western Nevada College in Carson City, NV. Assist phlebotomy faculty to prepare laboratory space, teach phlebotomy skills, follow safety rules, and provide feedback to learners. Communicate effectively with students, other assistants and faculty. Compensation $25 per hour. Part-time, temporary/seasonal position; applications accepted to establish an applicant pool. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Nevada State Certification as a Laboratory Assistant, and at least three years of experience as a technologist; preferred national phlebotomy technician certification.
