Job Summary
Attend the assigned P-Tech class on campus or via Zoom to stay current on topics, then provide weekly tutoring sessions with students in individual or group settings. Assist the instructor directly during lectures and handle administrative tasks such as welcoming students and managing logins. Tutor students in the classroom and online while maintaining a weekly log of attendance, progress, and assistance provided. This internal role supports high school students in the P-Tech Program, requiring expertise in UAS systems and FAA Part 107 certification.
Required Qualifications
- At least 30 college credits
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Expertise and prior experience in UAS systems
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Knowledge in UAS systems, drone laws, and the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification
