Job Summary
Conduct scheduled contact time with students, prepare seminar materials, and hold office hours for the MBAB5P11 Fall D2 course. Mark or grade assignments, proctor examinations, and guide students through Bright Space for uploading lab files and tests. Apply knowledge of Python, WEKA, ORANGE, SPSS, and tools like SQL and Power BI to teach data mining and statistical concepts. Ensure academic integrity and complete course administration tasks in accordance with the CUPE Local 4207 Collective Agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Must have completed MBAB5P11 and MBAB5P12 in the MBA program or MSCM 5P74 in the MSc program with a grade above 80%
- Must have knowledge of programming and the data mining and statistical software – Python, WEKA, ORANGE, SPSS
- Must have knowledge of MS-office applications, visualization and data management tools, particularly: MS-EXCEL, MS-ACCESS, SQL, POWER BI
- Must be familiar with the basic functions of Bright Space to guide students with the uploading and/or downloading of files related to lab practices, assignments and lab tests
- Proven track record of working effectively and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner
