Job Summary
Provide direct instruction on IEP goals and objectives using ABA methodology, collect and maintain data on academic, social, and behavioral goals, and oversee the safety and well-being of students with ASD and developmental disabilities. Assist with transitions, implement behavior support plans, and respond to medical emergencies while adhering to mandatory reporting requirements and HIPAA laws. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and evacuation drills. This role requires fingerprinting for a criminal history record check under OCFS. The position involves regular and substantial unsupervised physical contact with individuals receiving services.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree
- Associate degree with an RBT certificate
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Ability to be fingerprinted for a criminal history record check under OCFS (Office of Child and Family Services)
