Job Summary
Conduct scheduled contact time with students, prepare seminar materials, and hold office hours. Mark or grade assignments, proctor examinations, and guide students on file uploads and downloads via Brightspace and TopHat. Utilize MS-Excel, MS-Access, MIT App Inventor, and Thunkable to support lab practices and assignments. Attend lectures and complete course administration as required. Work on campus during Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer terms based on course enrolments and budgetary approval.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree
- knowledge of mobile app platforms MIT App Inventor and Thunkable
- knowledge of MS-office applications, particularly MS-EXCEL and MS-ACCESS
- familiarity with the basic functions of Brightspace and TopHat
- Previous TA experience
