Job Summary
Conduct scheduled contact time with students, prepare seminar materials, and hold office hours for ITIS 4P21. Mark or grade assignments and exams, proctor examinations, and attend lectures as required. Guide students on Brightspace for uploading and downloading files related to lab practices and tests. Apply MS-Excel, MS-Access, WEKA, and Orange data mining software to course content. Complete non-classroom preparation tasks in accordance with CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Completed MBAB5P11 or ITIS 4P21 with a minimum of 80% overall course grade
- Knowledge of MS-office applications, particularly MS-EXCEL AND MS-ACCESS
- Knowledge of the data mining software - WEKA
- Knowledge of the data mining software - Orange
- Familiarity with the basic functions of Brightspace to guide students with the uploading and/or downloading of files related to lab practices, assignments and lab tests
- Excellent English Language Skills
- Proven track record of working effectively and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner
