Job Summary
Teaching Assistant for GEOG 2P06 (Fall term) at Brock University. Responsibilities include scheduled contact time with students, preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking/grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration as required. Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in or have completed a postgraduate degree or have completed a Honours Degree in Human Geography or equivalent
- Completion of 4 full credits in Human Geography with an overall average of 75% or higher in all Human Geography courses completed (or equivalent)
- Completion of the course for which the applicant wishes to be TA with a final grade of 75% or higher (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated successful undergraduate teaching experience or equivalent small group leadership in an undergraduate context
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
