Job Summary
Support pupils with SEMH and SEND needs through 1-2-1 and small group assistance; collaborate with teachers and therapists to create a safe, engaging learning environment where pupils can thrive; help manage complex behaviours in a positive, consistent way and contribute to maintaining a nurturing and inclusive classroom. The role involves working closely with staff to support teaching and learning and to provide strong teamwork within a trauma- and attachment-informed setting.
Required Qualifications
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and maths (or equivalent qualification)
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally within SEMH, SEND or behavioural support settings
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to undertake further training and therapeutic development.
