Job Summary
Teaching Assistant for CRIM 2P33 - Law and Social Justice at Brock University, on St. Catharines Main Campus. Responsibilities include scheduled student contact, preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking and grading, supervision of examinations, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration as required. Qualifications require a Masters Degree or Honours Degree in Sociology or equivalent, with consideration for current Honours students in Sociology (80% average or higher) and successful completion of the course with a final grade of 75% or higher (or equivalent). Demonstrated teaching competence and the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines during intensive periods are required. Applications must explain how each listed qualification is met. Equivalency determinations are the responsibility of the course instructor and selection committee.
