Job Summary
Support the delivery of engaging art classes, workshops, and parties by applying art-K's teaching methodology to students of varying ages and abilities. Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs, monitor student progress, and demonstrate artistic techniques confidently across diverse media. Maintain a safe, positive learning environment while upholding behaviour management strategies and safeguarding policies. Prepare materials, organize sketchbooks, and respond to customer enquiries to support studio operations and local marketing efforts. Participate fully in apprenticeship training, reflect on practice, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality delivery. Work part-time on a fixed term-time schedule of 24.25 hours weekly, with adjusted hours during school holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Level 2 in Maths
- Level 2 in English
- Level 2 in Art
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Basic computer literacy and confidence using digital systems for day-to-day administrative tasks
- Ability to learn new art projects, teaching techniques, and behavioural strategies quickly
- Practical experience across a range of artistic media and techniques
