Job Summary

Assist instructors with company-created curriculum and materials to help advanced students grasp complex concepts. Work one-on-one with students during class activities, provide additional help when needed, and maintain an organized learning environment for up to 16 students. Support grading and provide constructive feedback on student work while connecting with students and staff to encourage their academic growth. Foster an environment that promotes critical thinking and academic curiosity. Available for weekday after-school hours (as early as 4pm) and weekends during the 2026–2027 academic year.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years old or older
  • Possess strong math skills with the ability to help students navigate advanced concepts
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication
  • Positive and encouraging attitude that helps students feel comfortable asking questions
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • In order to be considered for this position you must be legally authorized to work in the US
  • Candidates must be located in Waltham/Lexington or the greater area and must be able to commute to our campus
  • Candidates must be available to teach during weekday after-school hours (as early as 4pm) and/or on weekends

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with/interest in working with younger students strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with the AoPS curriculum is not required, but a plus
