Job Summary
Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator and Lab Demonstrator for ADST 5P74 Fall D10 in Toronto. Duties include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours) and other course administration as required. Qualifications include completed undergraduate degree, ADST 5P74 with >85 grade, graduate coursework in ABA/Behavioural Psychology, demonstrated experience in ABA, and experience teaching ABA to graduate/undergraduate students and/or clinical staff. Proficiency with Brightspace and video conferencing tools (e.g., Lifesize, Teams) and availability to attend in Toronto and online synchronous/asynchronous course support. Flexibility to deliver in-person and online instruction as per course delivery planned for Fall/Winter terms. Collaboration with course faculty and adherence to collective agreement provisions. Required Qualifications
- Completed undergraduate degree
- ADST 5P74 with >85 grade
- Demonstrated Graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and/or Behavioural Psychology
- Demonstrated experience in ABA
- Demonstrated experience in disability studies considered an asset
- Previous experience in teaching principles of ABA to graduate or undergraduate students and/or clinical staff members an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide constructive feedback
- Available to attend in TORONTO and/or attend online synchronous and asynchronous course support – weekday/evenings/weekend
- Experience using Brightspace or other learning management systems
- Experience using video conferencing platforms (e.g., Lifesize, Microsoft Teams)
- Available for in person, online, email and phone office hours during the week
