Job Summary
Teach a variety of music classes (private lessons, group classes, and ensemble rehearsals) at the Phoenix Conservatory of Music. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Conservatory curriculum; collaborate with other teaching artists and staff to foster a supportive learning community; participate in outreach and community engagement activities to promote PCM; adhere to policies including attendance and student safety. Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in music performance/education or related field, demonstrate strong musical ability and pedagogical skills, have experience teaching diverse ages and genres, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The role emphasizes hands-on music instruction, curriculum development, collaboration, student growth, and commitment to inclusive, positive music education.
