Job Summary
Teach ongoing workshops focused on music and other arts for youth within a comprehensive integrated arts program. Responsibilities include preparing curriculum, supervising participants, documenting program activities, and connecting students to support services. Ideal candidates should have experience as a youth program instructor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work creatively with young people from diverse backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Previous work as an artist/youth program instructor/educator
- Knowledgeable of and ability to apply positive youth development principles to working with young people
- Interest in working with young people of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to participate as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be independent, creative, energetic, and flexible
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Spanish, Mandarin, or French
Additional Requirements
