Job Summary
Teaching and Learning Specialist position in Jenks Public Schools focused on strengthening curriculum and instruction across the site, mentoring and guiding teachers through coaching and professional learning collaborations, and serving as a resource for gathering and disseminating instructional materials. Responsibilities include serving on district curriculum committees, implementing district adoptions, facilitating professional development, coaching new teachers, leading instructional meetings, collaborating with principals, developing family connections, planning schedules, and supporting assessment and site improvement plans. Requires Oklahoma Elementary teaching certificate, at least three years of teaching experience, and a Master’s degree is preferred. Employment Terms: nine months, certified teacher contract, exempt (FLSA).
Required Qualifications
- Hold or be eligible for valid Oklahoma Elementary teaching certificate
- Have earned a Master's degree (preferred)
- Have a minimum of three years of teaching experience
- Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship
