Teaching and Learning Assistant - Maternity Cover

Teaching Assistant at Witherslack Group on a maternity-cover basis. You’ll work with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise self-esteem. You’ll support the teacher and collaborate with therapists to bring learning to life, contribute to a safe, successful journey for pupils, and participate in induction and on-the-job training. The role involves providing compassionate, resilient support in a SEND environment, helping pupils engage in lessons, and applying a person-centered approach to enable positive progress and wellbeing.
