TEACHER-VOC HIGH

Create and maintain a classroom atmosphere with high expectations and enthusiasm for learning by integrating critical thinking, application, interpersonal skills, and technology into an aligned curriculum and assessment process to meet district and state standards. Responsibilities include planning and delivering instruction, assessing student learning with traditional and alternative strategies, communicating effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders, engaging in ongoing professional growth, promoting culturally responsive instructional strategies, upholding ethics and regulations, supporting student development, establishing a positive learning environment, planning and evaluating instruction, collaborating with peers and community, integrating technology, and complying with LEP endorsement requirements where assigned. The role requires Florida teaching certification and may involve bilingual preferences; classification is Exempt with a 240-day calendar.
