TEACHER-VOC HIGH

TEACHER-VOC HIGH position focused on creating and maintaining a classroom atmosphere with high expectations, infusing critical thinking, application skills, interpersonal skills, and technology into an aligned curriculum to meet district and state standards. Responsibilities include using traditional and alternative assessment strategies, effective communication with students, parents, and stakeholders, continuous professional growth, promoting critical, creative, and evaluative thinking, reflecting diverse cultures and needs, adhering to ethics and regulations of the education profession, supporting student development through positive learning environments, planning and evaluating instruction across varied settings, collaborating with peers and the community, and integrating appropriate technology. Additional duties include ESOL training/endoresement as required, accurate record-keeping, property management, and compliance with equal employment and non-discrimination policies. Qualifications emphasize Florida certification and computer skills; bilingual skills preferred.
