TEACHER - Upper School Science

Licensed Upper School biology teacher to plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive curriculum for grades 9-12; demonstrate extensive knowledge of NC standards in the sciences; design instruction aligned with NC Standards and assess student learning; implement SEL curriculum and lead advisory; differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners; collaborate with teachers, staff, and families; participate in standards-based grading and communicate progress; prepare students for state assessments; manage instructional resources; plan field trips; maintain timely communication with families and colleagues; AB Tech dual enrollment opportunities; AP training preferred; minimum NC teaching license and 1-3 years teaching experience preferred; willingness to teach a range of high school courses and possibly college-level courses; Proficiency with G Suite.
