Job Summary
Middle school science teacher under moderate supervision, responsible for planning and delivering instruction, developing lesson plans aligned with NC standards, instructing students individually and in groups, assessing progress, maintaining records for IEPs and 504 plans, administering tests, and collaborating with parents and administrators. Requires strong classroom management, knowledge of state standards and curriculum, ability to employ varied instructional strategies, use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and commitment to professional development and student engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid NC Teaching certification or eligible for NC Teaching certification in assigned area
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
