Job Summary
The position is responsible for teaching children and maintaining a safe learning environment. Key duties include lesson planning, supervising child activities, communicating with parents, maintaining classroom order, documenting student progress, and adhering to confidentiality standards. Candidates must possess a Teacher permit or equivalent, a minimum of 24 ECE/CD units, and have experience in early childhood education. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with CPR certification and a valid California driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a Teacher permit or equivalent
- Minimum of 24 ECE/CD units completed prior to hire
- Must possess a high diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must possess a valid California Class C Driver License
- CPR and Mandated Reporter Certificate
- Pass Live Scan and other background screenings
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Early Childhood education or equivalent
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High degree of organizational skills
- Ability to operate under stressful working conditions
