Job Summary
The role combines IT/Computer teaching for PreK-5th grade with grant writing duties to support the school’s technology systems. Responsibilities include maintaining the school's internet/server, determining administrative technology needs, obtaining bids for hardware/software, assigning employee/student accounts, repairing tech issues, maintaining the Computer Lab and the school's website (EDLIO) as required by the Superintendent, and writing/submitting grants. The incumbent will collaborate with teachers and staff, model Catholic values, support religious ceremonies and training, and contribute to technology-related interventions and literacy for students while upholding the diocese’s mission. Skills include IT support, project coordination, vendor communication, and ability to work in a faith-based educational environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education with 18 credit hours in Technology Applications and 12 hours in Education OR valid, appropriate state certification or endorsement
- Ability to set up and keep the School's EDLIO Website fresh and timely
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Practicing Catholic preferred, willing to support the mission of Catholic education
- Valid Texas driver's license required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Certification in Safe Environment training provided by the Office for Safe Environment and Child & Family Resources is required
- Must adhere to all Diocesan policies and procedures throughout the entire employment period
Desired Qualifications
