Job Summary
Manage the classroom and supervise students during classes, lunch breaks, and other times throughout the school day. Set goals, evaluate performance, and develop outcomes using data to improve services delivered to children and families. Prepare Individualized Education Programs for each student and create daily and longer-term lesson plans aligned with curriculum and state guidelines. Teach full learning areas including English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies while assessing student progress in reading, math, science, social studies, and other subject areas. Utilize computers for lesson preparation, teaching, and reporting. Attend staff meetings and training sessions. Full-time contract role with Monday to Friday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass a background check
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Relevant teaching experience in grades 9 through 12
