Job Summary
Administer assessments, interpret evaluations, and write reports for students with moderate disabilities. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to review findings, provide recommendations, and develop Individual Education Programs based on TEAM input. Collaborate with support staff to implement specially designed instruction and appropriate accommodations for classroom assessments and standardized examinations. Deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions and fulfill case management responsibilities while maintaining accurate, confidential student records. Guide support staff in academic, social, and behavioral management across classroom and non-classroom settings. Complete all assigned paperwork and conduct annual reviews, progress notes, and parent conferences.
Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts Licensure as a Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8)
- 1-2 years as a special educator
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree preferred
- Safety care preferred
- Training or work experience in ABA
- ELL and SEL training preferred ie trauma-informed instruction, culturally responsive teaching
