Job Summary
Special Education Teacher - Resource Room at Mead High School for the 2026-2027 school year. Plan, develop, and deliver instruction aligned to IEP goals; write and review IEP goals with data-driven assessments; act as IEP case manager in collaboration with parents and the school team; supervise paraeducators and ensure effective use of accommodations and modifications; implement instructional programs using varied materials; monitor student progress and maintain accurate records; create a safe, positive learning environment and work with grade-level teams to improve student outcomes. Requires WA state teaching certificate with endorsement; salary range per CBA and benefits perimeter; 1.0 FTE continuing, Monday–Friday schedule, 7:20 am–2:50 pm; location: Mead School District, Spokane, WA.
Required Qualifications
- Washington State teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement/s as required by law and regulation, or ability to obtain said Washington State teaching certificate prior to first contracted day.
