Teacher - Special Education (Resource) (0.5fte)

Special Education Resource Teacher (0.5 FTE) provides instruction and support in the curriculum with emphasis on IEP goals, student advocacy, classroom management, and collaboration with guardians and district staff. Responsibilities include writing and implementing individual scholar goals, evaluating performance against IEP objectives, maintaining records and reports to administrators, enforcing district rules and due process guidelines, utilizing instructional resources and technologies, and providing in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning as applicable. Willingness to participate in district/department leadership activities and collaborate with others. Strong emphasis on developing student outcomes, communication with families, and ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
