Job Summary
CLASSROOM TEACHER for Special Education serving students with multi-categorical needs (LD, BD, ID, DD) and Autism K-AD. Implement program of study, use varied teaching methods and instructional materials, monitor progress toward learning outcomes, maintain professional practice, foster positive pupil-teacher-parent relations, and participate in professional development. Responsibilities include sustaining an effective classroom climate, utilizing instructional management systems to maximize learning time, sponsoring student activities, collaborating with instructional team and building/ system-wide programs, and ensuring alignment with district objectives. Start date July 1, 2026; contract length 200 days. Qualifications include a four-year college degree and endorsements in Multi-Categorical (LD, BD, ID, DD) K-AD and Autism K-AD. Applicants with prior unsatisfactory evaluations or non-renewals are ineligible for consideration.
