Teacher - Special Education (Kimbrough)

Teach children with learning impairments to function in a regular classroom with modifications; plan programs of study meeting individual needs; attend ARD meetings; develop and update the individual education plan (IEP) for students; collaborate with classroom teachers to formulate teaching strategies, plan lessons, and evaluate progress; maintain proper SHARS-related records; handle confidential information appropriately; perform other duties as assigned; possess understanding of various disabilities and special education law; exhibit strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and public relations skills; uphold MISD policies and procedures and contribute to the change process and facilitation efforts.
