Job Summary
Provide instruction; encourage and assess student achievement; manage the learning environment effectively; implement Individualized Education Programs (IEP's) including accommodations and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP's); monitor and review IEPs; use research-based instructional strategies and assistive/instructional technology; collaborate with paraprofessionals and families; communicate student progress; maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment; follow district policies and professional ethics; participate in professional growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Georgia Educator Certificate in assigned teaching field as required by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
