Job Summary
Provide quality instruction aligned to Minnesota state standards and district requirements for students with ASD, using diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments to inform instruction. Responsibilities include planning and delivering instruction across curricula, employing strategies to foster thinking and problem solving, collaborating with peers to implement best practices, assessing students’ developmental and learning needs, creating safe and engaging learning environments, and regularly communicating with families. Maintain ongoing professional development, align with campus goals, and participate in campus STEM/education initiatives as needed. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with Minnesota teaching licensure (or pending licensure) and a preference for a Master’s or PhD; prior urban/multicultural teaching experience is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- Valid Minnesota teaching license; or proof of pending approved licensure
- Master's degree or PhD preferred
