Job Summary
Special Education Teacher for grades 5-8 at Lowell Public Schools. Responsibilities include staying up to date with curriculum, planning instruction and assessment of student learning, monitoring understanding, using effective instructional techniques and technologies, communicating learning goals and high standards to students, promoting equity and perseverance, and collaborating with parents and colleagues while ensuring a positive, respectful, and safe learning environment. Must comply with policies and be a reflective, cooperative member of the grade/team/department.
Required Qualifications
- Certification valid for service as a teacher in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor's Degree.
